Product Review: Kelly Teegarden Organics The Royal - Body Lotion

Good morning!  I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend!  Sorry that I took a little break but we went on a mini vacation up to the mountains in Western Maryland.  We had a good time but it poured rain most of the time.  Nonetheless I am feeling relaxed and ready to tackle the week!  Today I'm bringing you another fantastic product from Kelly Teegarden Organics- The Royal - Body Lotion.

My Impression:  I am religious when it comes to applying body lotion after a shower. Every single time I get out of the shower I apply lotion to my wet skin and let it absorb for a second before drying off. I loved the feel of this lotion! It was smooth and soft but also didn't leave my skin feeling greasy which is a big turn off for me and the problem with a lot of lotions on the market today. After applying the lotion my skin was left with a subtle glow, perfect for a sexy night on the town or simply a relaxing day on the beach. Speaking of relaxing, the scent of this lotion is a very relaxing combination of lavender, lemon and marjoram. Overall I would recommend this product if you are looking for a natural body lotion that gives your skin a sexy glow! Plus, you can't go wrong with all of the amazing ingredients packed inside of this stuff! Product Review: Befine Love Romance - Fragrance Body Mist Spray & Body Souffle

My Impression:  Once again I found myself saying "yum!" when smelling this stuff.  It smells like a delicious combination of peaches and apples!  I found the scent to be very calming and relaxing.  It also left my skin feeling soft and smooth.  If you use both the body souffle and the body mist you're guaranteed to be smelling fresh and clean for quite a few hours after application.  I have been using this stuff every single day for the past three weeks and I have quite a bit of product left so the generous size bottles definitely last for quite a bit.  They have a few other scents in both the Body Souffle and the Body Mist if Love Romance isn't your style however I think the Love Romance scent is perfect for summertime.  You can check out the Body Mist line here and the Body Souffle line here.

Product Review: Vaseline® Total Moisture®

My Impression- Now, as a lover of all types of body lotions I'm pretty sure I have tried every brand out the (I may be exaggerating a bit but I have tried a lot).  When choosing a body lotion I usually go for something like Bath & Body Works Body Butter, although lately I have been on an organic/natural kick.  However, for the summer I like a lighter, less greasy body lotion.  When I see the name Vaseline I automatically think of that think goopy greasy stuff in the tub.  I'm sure it has its uses but it isn't something that I want to slather on my body.  So, when I saw this lotion I was worried it might be greasy.  I was pleasantly surprised.  It has a nice clean scent and isn't greasy at all.  I enjoyed the fresh clean scent and how light the lotion was.  I think this lotion is perfect for a light summer lotion when you don't want something overly greasy or overly smelly (to attract the bugs) on your body.  The product comes in a variety of sizes so you can choose what size is best for you.  You can find Vaseline® Total Moisture® in most drug stores like Rite Aid, Walgreens, and CVS.  Get more information here or check out Vaseline's website for other great products.

Product Review: CoCo Cosmetics Jovie Jubilee Luxury Body Lotion

This is the first of a few scheduled posts because this weekend I am on vacation with my hubby and little man!  Anyway, today I am reviewing another product that I received in my April Look Bag: CoCo Cosmetics Jovie Jubilee Luxury Body Lotion.  The sample size I received was 2 oz.  

Product Details:  A festive scent that works for anyone, at any time of the year. A celebration for your skin. This moisturizing lotion has tea tree oil and pro vitamins to help your skin stay soft.  Source.

My Initial Impression:  I did not like the packaging for this product.  I'm not really sure what I don't like about it or how to describe it but the colors make the scent look "heavy" as opposed to a light colored bottle which makes me think something is more light.  Hopefully this makes sense.  There is something about this bottle that makes the product look low end.  I also did not like the scent of the product when I smelled it in the bottle, it seemed a little strong and "perfumey" (yes, I know this isn't a word.)

Pros:

• Hydrates skin nicely;
• Doesn't make skin overly oily;
• Scent isn't quite as strong once it has been on the skin for a few minutes.  

Cons:

•  Initial smell of product was off-putting for me.  A little too strong of a scent.  It did lighten up considerably once I put it on my skin but I'm still on the fence about the smell of this one.
• Packaging could use some work.

Final Impression:  I am a big fan of scented body lotions so I really wanted to like this product but it was just okay.  Nothing spectacular and if I was browsing in a store and picked up this product and smelled it I wouldn't buy it.  If you like very flowery scents then you might like this product so I won't advise against it totally, I would just suggest sampling it before buying.  If you are interested in buying you can get the full size product in a 16 oz bottle for $9.99 and a 14 oz bottle for $14.99.
